Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting reduces the potential dangers that occur with the loss of mains electricity and the failure of normal lighting, by automatically providing illumination, of a sufficiently high level, to allow safe evacuation of the building.

The Securus Group specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of emergency lighting solutions, with an unsurpassed reputation for consistent delivery of high quality emergency lighting systems.

Monthly, quarterly and yearly servicing and testing are an essential part of the installed system, with the yearly discharge test of the standby battery power being most important. Our engineers will always ensure that your system, and your building occupants, are looked after in a safe and secure environment.

Most emergency lighting schemes fall into one of the following categories:

Maintained: the emergency light units are illuminated at all times, using the same lamps for both normal and emergency operation. This lighting would normally be on a dedicated circuit with a central isolation and test facility.

Non-maintained: the emergency light units only illuminate in the event of a mains failure. This lighting would be from independent lighting circuits with a means of isolation and test points.

The Securus Group will only ever specify products designed and manufactured to meet the exacting requirements of this industry.
